            I AM A TRISKELION...

Measured by how I give life to its meaning

-not by how I can  well define the word,

blab its tenets and survive the rites.

            I AM A TRISKELION...

Respected by my solicitude to my brothers-

-not by the scars sustained or ruptures

inflicted to others in mindless conflicts

            I AM A TRISKELION...

I am he who extends my hand and gives

Light to my brother in squalor or wallowing

in the quagmire of arid darkness.

            I AM A TRISKELION...

For I am my brothers' keeper.  I  lead not

for mundane recognition. Humility  is the piton,

service is the rock of my leadership.

            I AM A TRISKELION...

I'm a timber of my family, pillar of my community.

I  withstand punishing wind for I am not a name

I am a Triskelion brother, son, husband, father.

            I AM A TRISKELION...

I rise above the acid-test of time. For my faith

is sterling as Solomon's wisdom--to forgive

than loathe, unite than divide, give than receive.
